The Custodia software products include a thirty (30) day full trial version for you to evaluate the software. By purchasing a license to use the Custodia software, you acknowledge and agree that you have evaluated the software and that the software meets your minimal needs. CoGen Media will not refund or accept any returns for any Custodia software unless the software is found to be defective. CoGen Media will attempt to repair or replace any defective software. In the event that CoGen Media is unable to repair or replace the defective software, CoGen Media shall refund to you the purchase price that you paid for the Software upon proof of valid purchase receipt.

Exceptions to this return/refund policy include:

  • Purchase of back-up CDs or any Extended Download Insurance.
  • Any CoGen Media products purchased through a third party reseller, retailer, or distributor. If you purchased the Custodia software through a reseller, retailer, or distributor, you must request a return/refund directly with them subject to their return/refund policy. Please note that CoGen Media has no control over any third party return or refund policies.

Procedures for return/refund or replacement requests:

If you discover that your licensed copy of the Custodia Software is defective and wish to receive a replacement copy, you must contact CoGen Media with the Support Form provided on the Contact Support page, or Click Here.

In order to receive a replacement copy of the Custodia software, you must provide the following:

  • Name and email address that was provided when you purchased the Custodia software.
  • The ProductKey and UserID provided to you in the Confirmation Letter/Email in order for you to activate the Custodia software.

In the event that CoGen Media is unable to repair or replace your licensed copy of the Custodia software, CoGen Media shall refund to you the purchase price that you paid for the Software upon proof of valid purchase receipt. Any applicable refunds will be credited to the credit card used to purchase the CoGen Media Products. Please note that it may take up to ten (10) business days to process a refund request, and that the applicable refund/credit to your credit card may not appear on the same credit card statement or billing cycle period as the date of your original purchase.

Once you have returned any applicable products to CoGen Media, those products will become de-activated.

CoGen Media reserves the right to modify the terms and conditions of this Return/Refund Policy at any time. Any modifications to this Refund/Return Policy will be posted on this Return/Refund Policy web page and on the Custodia Home page.
